A few more days before I leave and I still have my panniers to finish, Lucy's sleeping bag to sew and the trailer to modify. Of course cleaning up the trailer at the animal sanctuary where I've been working/living is also on my list of things to do.
Today I had a few tweaks of my website and I need to head over to Walmart to pick up some small empty containers for food & cleaning stuff plus I need a stove lighter and some Instant brown rice for my breakfasts.
I would like to add that I will not be writing in my journal until I have reached Port Gibson (my first week riding). Part 1 will be from Tylertown, MS to Eagle Pass, TX.
I will be riding to Natchez and then taking the Trace up to Port Gibson. I hope to take the Natcez-Trace south in a few years from now from Trace, TN into MS.
